This course consists of the excellent universal tourism facilities selected by the Seoul Tourism Organization in 2023. Universal tourism facilities cater to all individuals, including those with disabilities, by ensuring convenient access for everyone.


Gangseo-gu, the green lungs of western Seoul, is a peaceful area that blends a relaxed natural setting with a city center. Recognized for its abundant green areas and tranquil atmosphere, Gangseo-gu also offers cultural venues and community events, showcasing a diverse culture for visitors of any age to appreciate. It stands out as one of Seoul's most distinct neighborhoods, providing a feeling of calmness within the busy city thanks to its large open areas and well-kept facilities.


The National Aviation Museum of Korea, as one of the numerous cultural venues, stands out as a top tourist destination providing insight into the history and technology of aviation. Here, you can observe a range of airplanes and associated gear and witness the evolution of aviation up close. Children and teenagers are particularly drawn to the museum due to its educational content and interactive attractions, such as the cockpit simulator, which can ignite a fascination with aviation science.


Once you finish visiting the National Aviation Museum of Korea, you have the option to try different authentic Korean dishes at Sami Sikdang or indulge in crunchy Japanese tonkatsu at Tonkatsu Injung. National Aviation Museum of Korea is Korea's first national museum dedicated to aviation, known for its unique exterior design resembling a jet engine and bird feathers. The museum provides displays and interactive activities that delve into the evolution of global airlines and upcoming aviation advancements, covering various subjects from historical aviation to industry practices and daily life. You can get a taste of Korea's aviation field by participating in activities like in-flight training, piloting, and aviation recreational programs.

The National Aviation Museum of Korea is easily accessible to all visitors. The accessible way features a gradual incline and is spacious without any stairs, ensuring that wheelchair users can navigate easily. Visitors with visual impairment can enter through the main entrance safely, which has braille blocks, and exhibit and experience information desks are at a wheelchair-friendly height. Docent programs, stroller and wheelchair rentals, and spacious elevators with wheelchair-friendly controls are all available. The museum has gender-specific accessible restrooms and a nursing room with diaper changing tables, making the museum accessible to everyone.

∙ Accessible way and Main entrance ㅣ The accessible way is wide with no steps but has a gentle slope. The main entrance is wide, with no steps or slopes, and Braille blocks are installed for persons with visual impairment. 

∙ Indoor Space ㅣ There are information desks for each exhibit and experience, and the aviation leisure sports experience information desk is at an accessible height for wheelchair users. 

∙ Parking lot for persons with disabilities ㅣ There are five accessible parking spaces in the basement of the building. 

∙ Accessible Toilet for persons with disabilities ㅣ The accessible restrooms are separate from the regular restrooms and also separated by gender. 

∙ Child Facilities and others ㅣ There is a diaper changing station in the nursing room on the first floor and also inside the regular restrooms.

Tonkatsu Injung is a long-lined restaurant known for its thick, juicy Japanese tonkatsu. Their signature dishes feature special rosu katsu and cheese katsu, using local pork and unique aging techniques to create thick yet tender handmade tonkatsu.
