Bukchon is the place where the history and modernity of Seoul merge. Featuring traditional Hanok structures, modern touches, and stories tucked away in each narrow street, Seoul provides an authentic glimpse into its historical charm. Moreover, Jongno-gu used to have a group of artisans, allowing visitors to discover the essence of Korean craftsmanship at the Seoul Museum of Craft Art in Bukchon.

The museum is created with the intention of being easily accessible to all visitors. The broad accessible way has Braille blocks for persons with visual impairment, and the museum's interior connects exhibits, courtyards, and rest areas, enabling visitors to navigate between spaces with ease. The museum additionally provides smart exhibit guides, an audio guide for those with visual impairments, and several Braille brochures for a more comprehensive and accommodating visit.

Close to the museum, there are delicious options such as braised ripe kimchi and kimchi stew at "Bukchon Kimchijae", soft tofu and biji stew at Angukjeong, and a selection of cakes and beverages at CFlamingo Café. You can delight in a satisfying meal and a refreshing pause with nutritious and tasty choices available. Experience a satisfying journey to Bukchon where you can enjoy both culture and food without missing out.

The Seoul Museum of Craft Art is the first public craft art museum in Korea, established by renovating five buildings of the former Pungmoon Girls’ High School in Seoul. The site of the museum has deep historical roots as it was a royal residence for King Sejong’s son Prince Yeongeung and it was also once the site of Andong Byeolgung, a detached palace constructed by Gojong. Museums offer a unique cultural experience that blends craft and history.
