This course consists of the excellent universal tourism facilities selected by the Seoul Tourism Organization in 2023. Universal tourism facilities cater to all individuals, including those with disabilities, by ensuring convenient access for everyone.



Daehakro serves as the hub of cultural and artistic events in Seoul, hosting a wide range of contemporary artistic activities. The region features numerous theaters, musicals, and galleries, along with major arts education institutions, providing easy access and educational opportunities in the cultural arts. Daehakro is a space that combines tradition and modernity, making it particularly inspiring for young artists and students. The Arko Art Center, located in Daehakro, Seoul, is a public art museum linked to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, aiming to make contemporary art accessible to all since its establishment in 2004. The modern glass, brick, and steel structure is an environment that stimulates the senses and provides visitors with a plethora of artistic inspiration through numerous exhibits and artworks. It serves as the artistic and cultural hub of Daehakro, making it a special destination for contemporary art enthusiasts.

The  Arko Art Center provides a range of facilities to guarantee the comfort and convenience of every visitor. The ramp connecting the accessible way and the main entrance has a slope of under 3 degrees, allowing easy access for wheelchair and stroller users, with an outdoor elevator also available for convenient access to the main entrance. Emergency bells are installed in the accessible bathrooms on the first floor for persons with disabilities to enhance safety. All exhibition areas are suitable for wheelchairs, and there are facilities such as a nursing room and diaper changing station for visitors with young children. This museum is family-friendly, as it even has a designated area for stroller storage.

Jami The Hong, located on Daehakro, is a Hong Kong restaurant known for its local cuisine and distinctive ambiance reminiscent of a Hong Kong film. The eatery offers traditional Hong Kong dishes like wonton noodles and mapa tofu bowls, and was recently showcased in a photo shoot of the Korean Idol "New Jeans", boosting its popularity. Jami The Hong's building consists of three levels, however, individuals using wheelchairs or strollers may have restricted accessibility due to the absence of an elevator. The main entrance has gradual ramps, however, there are also steep stairs, so caution is advised. Discover the tastes and ambiance of Hong Kong at this spot!

The coffee shop offers a selection of scones paired with specialty blends of coffee, and customers can also enjoy the popular vitamin juice made with green grapes and kale. The cafe's approach way and main entrance are wide and gently ramped, making it accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, and both indoor and terrace seating is wheelchair accessible.
